I think that instead of "Ajax thread" the article should be "Acme thread". done -Coolhandscot

That sounds right (and explains why I couldn't find a Wikilink for the "Ajax" thread form). It was my mistake -- thanks for correcting it!

[edit] Jackscrew or screw jack?

Isn't device shown here a screw jack, a device which employs a jackscrew.
