The liner notes of his album "Jackie Vernon - A Man and his watermelon" report that Jackie Vernon was born on Friday the 13th, in 1929, in NY City. This differs from the date in this article. Which is correct? WES

• It's entirely possible he was just being funny, since both Friday the 13th and the year 1929 are associated with disaster. Wahkeenah 22:59, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
• Normally you would give the month you were born in, not the day of the week. Tex 18:36, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
