[edit] Hurricane source?

"Between the first and the second movies, a hurricane strikes the cave, and all the medallions are washed out to sea."

Where was this information found? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.137.17.172 (talk • contribs) .

Good question. I'm hitting it with a {{fact}} tag. EVula 03:58, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

Alluded to in the second movie actually. After Jack climbs back aboard the Pearl, Gibbs makes a comment of the Isla de Muerta "going pear-shaped, re-claimed by the sea." -Captain JD Sparrow —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.37.217.20 (talk • contribs) .

That's a very, very weak allusion that doesn't particularly cover the details in the quote. EVula 18:22, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Why is he imortal?

I may have missed somthing but why is Jack (the monkey) still imortal after the rest of the crew and Jack (sparrow) are un cursed when will's blood is put in the chest? Also why is Will not cursed? -- Dr. B

Keep watching after the credits for the first one. Jack the Monkey sneaks back into the cave and then steals a single coin, thereby bringing down the curse again. EVula 16:54, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

But only upon himself, I hasten to point out. -Captain JD Sparrow

[edit] Merge with Barbossa?

Honestly, there's not a lot of info here... I think we should add Jack to Barbossa's wiki. The monkey is most commonly associated with Barbossa. QuestionMark 22:03, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

I like that idea, but the Monkey should have his/her own page. Obi-WanKenobi-2005 21 December 2006

Since no one else is discussing, I'm taking the Merge off. Obi-WanKenobi-2005 28 December 2006

[edit] A good picture of Jack?

Is there actually any good pictures of Jack the Monkey we could use as his main picture in the info box area? I mean, just one of him, no on eelse like Barbossa, but just him....and a clear picture too. I would get one myself, but I actually don't have the equipment, nor know how to exactly get a screenshot from the DVD onto my comp, so, if anyone else could get a pic of him, that could help out this article a fair amount I rekon. [edit] Paranormal

Okay, in regards to the whole paranormal issue, that would in fact suit this as Jack is undead, thus relating to the world of things unusal.

Though, I guess that when I look at it again, it doesn't really seem to suit it that much, so I guess I'll leave it alone for now, unless others think otherwise. Captain Drake Van Hellsing 22:40, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

Exactly; just because it deals with certain elements of the paranormal does not make it in the spectrum of the paranormal. In cases of fictional content, it only fits when the point of the work is paranormal. - A Link to the Past (talk) 22:47, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AFD closed

According to an AFD, this article should be merged with List of minor characters in Pirates of the Caribbean. Luigi30 (Taλk) 17:14, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

Where's the link to it then? Captain Drake Van Hellsing 21:31, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
