[edit] References
I am working to find references for this and other comedy- and humor-related articles. Please help if you can. I would prefer this article's quality reflect its subject's importance. Please see WP:reliable sources for a description of the type of sources that can be used to improve this article. Thanks. --Future Fun Jumper (TIC) 09:20, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
- References have been added and external links as well. This posting in and of itself is actually a good example of the issue I've had with your edits. Despite references being made and additional links being provided, you are still insisting on a level of citation that is simply practically impossible to provide. I have said it before, but I will continue to post the concept of assuming good faith on the part of Wiki contributors and not be so quick to judge or act tempermental when someone does not aggree with your strict view of Wiki guidelines. Ultimately the Wiki is a collaborative environment, and the way you are going about these requests bellie the concept of cooperation and seem to be a tad "power hungry" more than anything else. - I feel that you have a conflict of interest with regard to this and other related articles. Otherwise, I do assume good faith. That means I believe you would like to work toward a positive goal, but it doesn't at all mean I agree with your opinions about those goals. --Future Fun Jumper (TIC) 09:57, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Notable Wikipedian
SpyMagician, why did you remove the notable wikipedian tag from the top of this page that indicates that you are the subject of this article? --Future Fun Jumper (TIC) 10:11, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
- Your claim is baseless and hinged solely on your passive-aggressive seething anger towards my interest in comedy and—seemingly—dozens of other alt-comedy articles in Wiki. It seems you have a very real problem with any editor or user disagreeing with you on any level. And the claim made towards me could be made about practically all of the comedy groups and articles I've reverted edits on or added material to. In the case of this article it appears the great reward for simply doing a Google search and adding contextual references—to sate your desire for citation—results in petty flame-baiting and not much else. But in the end, I'm happy you behave this way with less than one week under your belt on Wiki. It proves my concept that you simply want to run around deleting and maligning articles rather than participate in a collaborative project. SpyMagician 10:14, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Truth in Comedy = ChrisGriswold
For clarity: Truth in Comedy is me. I created the sock account to work on comedy-related articles. The above words are mine. --Chris Griswold (☎☓) 04:28, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
- In reference to the above notes, anyone reading this—especially those who edit comedy articles—might want to know the following and take this into consideration. Future Fun Jumper (TIC), was a 'sock puppet' of a rogue admin who took it upon themselves to slash/burn hundreds of comedy articles. For those unfamiliar with the term, a 'sock puppet' is someone who uses multiple accounts deceive others on and influence others Wikipedia. And in this case, Chris Griswold was an admin who used 'sock puppets' to taunt and bully dozens of comedy and improv related articles. —SpyMagician 06:49, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- Alternate accounts, yes. (Fact) Bullying, no. (Opinion.) Comment on the article, not the editor, please. --Chris Griswold (☎☓) 19:03, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- Chris, the facts speak for themselves and this comment is on topic. You would not have had your admin status pulled if you were not a bully; plain and simple. And outside of Wikipedia I have received support and 'war stories' from others who have dealt with you. If you simply would admit and come clean about your behavior, I think most of us would not care. Or not even monitor your edits. But at this point, it's quite clear you barely grasp the level of damage your behavior has caused and the amount of time wasted dealing with your abusive behavior. As I said elsewhere, perhaps it's a fruitless battle to continually explain this to you since what started this all is the mentality that using 'sock puppets' as an admin was justifiable. There are no words that can overcome that mentality. And watching you continually try to justify yourself and deride the words of others is jaw-droppingly amazing. As for sticking to the topic, I am. By using the account Future Fun Jumper (TIC) on one hand, and then jumping in as Chris Griswold on another you wre creating a 'gang up' atmosphere that indeed bullied others. Including me. And this comment stands and is apt. Now please, if you are serious about taking a break from Wikipedia please do so. And at least accept the damage you have done as an adult and as a man. —SpyMagician 19:13, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- PS: Correction. Your admin status was not pulled, but you voluntarily asked for it to be removed after overwhelming evidence proved you abused your power. Apologies for mixing that up. Now can I ask that you please stop 'gaming' reality and instead act like a responsible human being? —SpyMagician 19:15, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
