You don't think that the use of "legendary" 3, 4, 5, or 6 times in one article is a little over-doing it? Once is too much, as a matter of Wiki fact.... Hayford Peirce 04:39, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Ohio State University's name
Ohio State University is formally known as The Ohio State University. Several universities and airports use the as part of their official title. I was kind of split about seeing the editted in, but, did not revert because that is its official name. Ronbo76 16:21, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Buck Jack (HOF).jpg
Image:Buck Jack (HOF).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] URL for National Radio Hall of Fame induction
I just edited the lead para to mention his induction, but could not figure out where and how to incorporate a reference to this URL: url=http://www.museum.tv/rhofsection.php?page=179
Hoping someone will incorporate the reference properly, thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Publius3 (talk • contribs) 08:38, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] other radio work
As part of his KMOX radio career in St. Louis during the early 60s, on the occasion of Cardinals baseball night games at home Buck had additional duties afterwards. He would broadcast for half an hour or so from a restaurant at the Chase Park Plaza hotel, where he would chat with celebrities, politicians, or anyone else who was there for a meal or drink. I don't remember whether he did other non-game broadcasting during those years as well, but wouldn't be surprised. If so it might be worth mentioning in the article that his work was not limited to sports announcing. Publius3 (talk) 08:59, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
