[edit] Knighthood

When was he Knighted? And does anyone have any info on his life after 1972?Traditional unionist 12:44, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

I didn't look into it, but someone had put KBE without the "Sir" prefix so I added it. Perhaps the KBE was an earlier mistake by someone and he wasn't knighted? --Counter-revolutionary 12:57, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

He was Minister of Finance from 25th March 1963 to 22nd July 1964 not Deputy Prime-Minister, he became Deputy Prime-Minister in 3rd May 1969.--padraig3uk 13:01, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

He was knighted in 1974, was President of the Ulster Unionist Council from 1969-73.--padraig3uk 13:04, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
