Jacoby Jones (born July 11, 1984 in New Orleans, Louisiana) is an American football wide receiver for the Houston Texans, who was drafted from Lane College in the 2007 NFL draft. When Jones graduated from high school he was just 5 ft 7 in, 165 lb. [1] During his Freshman year of college, while attending Southeastern Louisiana University on a track scholarship, he experienced a growth spurt which would eventually leave him at 6 ft 2 in and more than 200 lb. Jones attended Marion Abramson High School in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a letterman in football, basketball, and track. In basketball, he was an All-Metropolitan selection and an All-Area selection. In track, he was an All-Metropolitan selection and an All-Area selection. Jacoby Jones graduated from Marion Abramson High School in 2002.

[edit] DWI Investigation

On March 16th of 2008, Jones was arrested in Midtown near downtown Houston under the suspicion of drunk driving by The Houston Police Department. An HPD Spokesmen did not specify why they pulled over Jones and said it was simply a DWI Investigation and that an accident wasn't involved. He was later released on a $500 Bail for a first offense.
