Jacob Zachar (born May 16, 1986 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American actor. He attended St. Patrick High School in Chicago. He is currently starring on the ABC Family TV Series Greek as Rusty Cartwright.[1]

Zachar landed his first acting role in 2006 when he played the part of Ernest in the film Little Big Top. He then appeared as a cashier in the movie Bodega, also in 2006.

Zachar recently completed the film, Drunkboat, in which he stars along with Dana Delany, John Malkovich and John Goodman.

His Greek character, Rusty, is also from Chicago.

He is currently dating Jessica Rose, more famously known as his ex on-screen girlfriend Jen K in Greek and Bree of LonelyGirl15 fame.

He is Jewish.
