Jacob Stein

Jacob Stein is a California attorney who has gained a nation-wide reputation as an authority on the subject of asset protection. His textbook on asset protection is used by the California CPA Society, and he frequently teaches legal and accounting courses for the National Business Institute, Lorman Education Services, California CPA Education Foundation and California Bar groups. He has also published numerous articles, on the subject of asset protection and teaches over 30 seminars every year.

Jacob Stein is a graduate of the University of Southern California Law School and Georgetown University LL.M. in Taxation program. He has taught over 100 asset protection seminars. He is a California Certified Tax Law Specialist and is AV rated by Martindale.

He is an adjunct professor of taxation at the CSU, Northridge Graduate Tax Program. He is an instructor with the California CPA Education Foundation, National Business Institute and Lorman Education Services.

His article on charging order protection which appeared in RIA's Business Entities magazine is considered the seminal article on that subject.[1] Similarly, his article on Advanced Planning With Limited Liability Companies is an often cited resource on series LLCs and charging orders.[2]
