Jacob Edward (Jake) Sanders (born 26 November 1968) is a Green Party of England and Wales politician, and a former councillor on Oxford City Council.
Sanders was a parliamentary candidate in the Oxford East constituency for the Green Party of England and Wales in the 2005 general election. In the parliamentary election, he came in fourth place with 4.3% of the vote, 0.5% more than the Green Party candidate had received in the previous election.
His father Larry Sanders is also a Green Party activist, who in 2005 was elected County Councillor and became the Green councillor group leader on Oxfordshire County Council. His uncle, Bernie Sanders, is an independent member in the United States Senate.
He and his wife Ann have a young son, William.
