Jacob Millman

Jacob Millman (born 1911 in Russia died 22 May 1991) was a professor of Electrical Engineering at Columbia University.
Millman received a Ph.D. from MIT in 1935. He joined Columbia University in 1951, and retired in 1975. From 1941 to 1987, Millman wrote eight textbooks on electronics. His obituary was printed in the New York Times newspaper on 24th May 1991.
Millman's Theorem (otherwise known as the Parallel generator theorem) is named after him.
