Jacob Brian Jaacks aka Jacob Crane (name changed because of divorce) (born April 24, 1977 in Rapid City, South Dakota) is an American professional basketball player.
Jacob played basketball for both Ankeny High School (Iowa) and Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He started his college career at South Dakota State University and Marshalltown Community College (Iowa). Jacob was a 6'10" (2.08m), 250 pound (113k) power forward/center for the University of Iowa from 1998-2000. In 1999-2000he was a team captain and fan favorite for the Hawkeyes. After playing the preseason with the Toronto Raptors in 2000, he was released and has played professionally in Europe ever since.
