Jacob Geoffrey Burns (born on 21 April 1978 in Sydney, Australia) is an Australian football (soccer) player. He joined Wisła Kraków in March 2006 after a spell at Barnsley. He previously played for Leeds United and was part of their run to the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League. He also played for Parramatta Power and Sydney United in the Australian NSL.
Currently he is under contract with Romanian team Unirea Urziceni.

He made his return to the Socceroo squad for the 2-0 loss to Kuwait on September 6, 2006. Prior to this he won two caps in 2000 and 2001 against Scotland and Colombia respectively. His third cap came against Denmark in 2007. In the same year he came off the bench to earn his fourth cap against China where Australia won the match 2-0. Received a late call up to the Australian squad against Nigeria as a replacement for Tim Cahill, and came on at the start of the second half. His latest cap came in a friendly game against Ghana in Sydney, where he started the match, and came off on the 79th minute.
