Jackie Webb (née Pascoe) is a fictional character on the ITV1 television series Footballers' Wives, played by Gillian Taylforth.

[edit] History

Mother of Kyle Pascoe, one time Earl's Park superstar striker and biological son Paddy, who was fathered by Sparks captain, Jason Turner, Jackie gave her illegimate child to her daughter in-law and her son in series 1, as they were unable to conceive a child.

However, Jackie became unhealthily attached to the child, being unable to allow Chardonnay to assume the role of mother, matters became further complicated when Jason Turner tried to convince Jackie to get his child back, for them to start a life together.

Jackie kidnapped the child and moved into a different house away from her son. Chardonnay angrily got the child back, and kicked Jackie out of her and her son's life. Further on, it was discovered that Paddy Pascoe was intersex, which complicated matters. They decided to raise the child as a male.

After Chardonnay died at the end of the second series, Jackie found it difficult to mend her relationship with Kyle, and started a sexual relationship with Roger Webb, and at the beginning of series 4, they got married. Immediately, their marriage faced problems, as Roger's son, Seb Webb, came to Earl's Park as the new signing. He took an interest in Jackie sexually, which was fuelled by his hatred of his father. Seb kissed Jackie when he was drunk, but she chose to ignore this gesture, simply blaming it on the alcohol.

After a common marital fight, Seb took advantage of Jackie's mental state and they got drunk together. Seb led Jackie to believe that she slept with him when she was drunk even though she didn't which twisted the knife even further, Roger found out about his son's intentions and sent him away, leaving him and Jackie alone.

In the fifth series, the marriage of Roger and Jackie seemed to be on strong ground, however now a new person had taken an interest in Jackie, Garry Ryan, the new chairman at Earl's Park. After Roger was accidentally blinded, when Amber Gates shot him in error in an attempt to murder Bruno Milligan for killing Conrad Gates, Garry drugged Jackie and tried to seduce and rape her.

Jackie told her husband of this incident, and after Roger confronted Ryan, he was led down a broken elevator to his death by Ryan. Realising that there was nothing left in England for her, Jackie packed her belongings and left for Australia to be reunited with her son, Kyle.
