Jackie Hodder was a Sydney gangster and SP bookmaker. He was rated the best street fighter in Sydney in the 1960s. A big man with a big beer gut, Hodder fought like Jack Dempsey. He was stabbed to death in a fight in Waterloo in 1965.^{[citation needed]}
