Jackie Hennessy was an Irish footballer.
He played with St. Patrick's Athletic, Shelbourne and Derry City during his career, as well as earning an international call-up to the Republic of Ireland team during the 1965-66 League of Ireland season in order to play against West Germany. In total he managed to win 5 caps for Ireland. he also went to manchester united with jonny giles but could not return to united after the munich disaster because to many of his friends had died
