Jackie Bird

Jackie Bird (born July 31, 1962 in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire) is a Scottish newsreader, working for BBC Scotland.

She is currently a co-presenter of Reporting Scotland, BBC Scotland's flagship news bulletin three nights a week.

Bird also regularly presents BBC Scotland's Hogmanay Live and Children in Need programmes.

She is also a newspaper columnist.

Bird has a daughter called Jean-Claudia and a son. Her daughter likes tents
