Jack Salvatore Jr. (born October 16, 1989) is an American actor. He appeared in the 2001 film Donnie Darko and has guest starred in several television shows, including Judging Amy and Still Standing. He is currently known best for his recurring role as Mark Del Figgalo in the Nickelodeon television series Zoey 101. Mark was only planned to be in one episode, but the producers of the show liked Jack so much that they decided to make Mark a recurring character. He has appeared in eighteen episodes of the series so far. Jack recently appeared on How I Met Your Mother and has a small role in the Owen Wilson feature Drillbit Taylor.
Salvatore was born in California. He graduated with highest honors from Crespi Carmelite High School in May 2007 and has been accepted to the University of Southern California, School of Cinematic Arts where he will pursue a BFA degree in Writing for the Screen and Television.
Jack has one sister, Hilary Salvatore Angelo, an accomplished actress. Their father is KNX AM Radio News Anchorman, Jack Salvatore, Sr.
In the alternate opening and the alternate ending to 13 Going on 30 (2004), Salvatore played young Matt Flamhaff. These alternate clips can be seen on the special features on the DVD.
