Jack Morton Worldwide is based in New York,[3] and was founded in 1939 by Jack Morton as an entertainment production company.

Jack Morton extended its capabilities and reach through acquisitions and by opening new offices worldwide. By the 1960s, Jack Morton Productions had offices in Washington DC, New York (1954) and Chicago (1960) and added internal communications, production and staging to its capabilities.

By 1977, Bill Morton, son of Jack Morton, became Chairman and CEO as offices opened in San Francisco (1972) and Atlanta (1976). During this time, the company grew to include capabilities including planning, exhibits and environments, themed attractions and multimedia.

Offices opened in Detroit (1987), Los Angeles (1987), Boston (1990) and Minneapolis (1990) and the company began to shift its focus from tradition production company to anexperiential marketing agency.

In recent years Jack Morton has broadened its capabilities in areas such as: public events (Special Olympics, 2004 Summer Olympic Ceremonies); exhibits; digital media; broadcast design; and more focused markets like Latinos in the US. [4]
