Jack Earle

Jack Earle (born Jacob Ehrlich in 1906 in Denver, Colorado, USA) was a silent film actor. After he retired from being an actor he became a salesman. Known for his massive height due to acromegalic gigantism. He was 232cm (7 ft 7½in) tall. He died July 18, 1952, in Texas, USA. He died by suffocation in his car after a crash at age 46.
Jack Earle is also referenced in Tom Waits' song "Get Behind The Mule" on the "Mule Variations" album.
