Jack Damaska

Jack Lloyd Damaska (born August 21, 1937 in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania) was a major league baseball player, minor league baseball player and minor league manager.
Damaska played only five games in the major leagues but had a long minor league career. He was signed by the St. Louis Cardinals in 1957, and as late as 1973 was playing in Quebec. He was also a minor league manager including a stint as the one and only manager for the Kinston Expos who began operation in 1974 and folded at the end of the season. Damaska's five games in the majors were all in July of 1963. He appeared in the field only twice, once at second base and once in the outfield. He had a total of five major league at bats with one hit (a single) and four strikeouts. His one hit did produce an RBI.
