Jack Britt High School is a public high school in southern Cumberland County, North Carolina. It is an honor school of excellence which is a reflection of the staff, students, and the community and the teamwork displayed by all. Jack Britt has also met all seventeen of the Yearly Progress Goals mandated by the Federal No Child Left Behind Legislation.

As one of the largest schools in Cumberland County, North Carolina, Jack Britt High School is now experiencing overcrowding issues. Development of the outlying areas are to blame for this problem.

Jack Britt is also home to the Integrated Systems of Technology Academy which educates students in the field of pre-engineering and prepares students for careers in these fields. Many students who graduate from this specific academy attend North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina to continue their education in the engineering disciplines.

Jack Britt marching band programs have seen improvement, especially during the 2007 season with their custom show "Life of the Matador." In particular, the Jack Britt Drumline saw success at Cary Band Day 2007 with the "High Drums Award" for the best drumline of the day. This was an outstanding accomplishment because the Jack Britt drumline defeated West Johnston and West Carterette (the previous winners of this distinguished award).
