Jack Armstrong A.K.A. "The Coach" (born January 3, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York, USA), is the color commentator for the Toronto Raptors on Rogers Sportsnet and Raptors NBA TV. Jack is also the college basketball analyst for Rogers Sportsnet. Armstrong graduated from Fordham University with a Masters in Communication.

Armstrong is a former coach for Niagara University. In 1992-1993 he led the Niagara Purple Eagles to a 23-7 record and was named the New York State Division I Coach of the Year. Armstrong's knowledge of the game has made him one of the most respected basketball analysts in Canada. He is known for his trademark raspy voice. He and his wife have adopted two children.
