Jacinto, Minas Gerais

Jacinto is a Brazilian municipality located in the northeast of the state of Minas Gerais. The city belongs to the mesoregion of Jequitinhonha and to the microregion of Almenara. As of 2007 the population was 12,422 in a total area of 1,391 km².
Jacinto is located on the right bank of the Jequitinhonha River. It is 44 kilometers east of Almenara.
