[edit] Career & Background

Jacinta Wawatai-Woodhouse was born and grew up in New Zealand and has always enjoyed singing and playing netball in her free time. She has two younger brothers.

She is best known for her portrayal of a native girl in King Kong and the character Mouse on the internationally successful sci-fi TV show The Tribe and also had a minor role in Revelations, another Cloud 9 based production.

She started acting from the website entitled NZtalent.co.nz, where she then became noticed. The site was a good start for her because other actors have managed to get roles who used the website.
