[edit] Pasted from Jabbor Gibson, now redirected here

Is it Jabbor Gibson or Jabbar? All the news sources I've seen so far say 'Jabbar', but that doesn't mean they're correct.

Unfortunately, no conclusive evidence. The TV news sources say Jabbor, the newspapers (Houston Chronicle) say Jabbar. I'd tend to favor the newspapers, since they usually are more thorough. But this is hard to verify. Fuzheado | Talk 10:09, 4 September 2005 (UTC)

I have seen mostly Jabbor, but we should put them both on the same page and put something like 'Jabbar Gibson (also spelled Jabbor Gibson)' or vice versa. Then have them all directed to the same page. I don't know if they have a correct spelling on it, I'm sure they just got it by ear.

He uses both "Jabar" and "Jabbar" when he gets arrested. His court records and the Sheriff's office have his name as "Jabar", with "Jabbar" listed as an alias.

[edit] New material for consideration/inclusion

Looks like Jabbar has signed a movie deal so this page will eventually blow up as his celebrity status increases. This section is to keep track of new news articles before they are either linked or rolled into the wiki. (71.195.130.159 18:34, 18 October 2005 (UTC))
