Jaboticabal

Jaboticabal is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil whose name comes from the Tupi language. Covering an area of 708.68 km², it is located 605 m above sea level. Its population in 2004 was 71,654. The city is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Jaboticabal.
