Jabbim (client)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jabbim is a GPL instant messaging client for the Jabber (XMPP) protocol which uses the PyQt toolkit. It runs on Linux and Microsoft Windows.
Ready-to-install deb and RPM packages are available for several Linux distributions. Mac OS X port is not in active development, although the application is close to usable state on this operating system[1].
Jabbim can be used to connect to conventional Jabber servers as well as Google Talk service[2].
