Jabal

Jabal is the Arabic (جبل) word for mountain (also transliterated jebel, gebel and djebel). It may refer to:
- Jabal al-Tariq or Rock of Gibraltar — "Mount of Tariq", named after Tariq ibn-Ziyad
- Jabal al-Thawr, the mountain visited by Muhammad during the Migration to Medina.
- Jabal al-Nour, the "Mountain of Light" where the prophet Muhamamd saw first received revelation from Angel Jibreel
- Jabal, son of Lamech, a descendant of Cain
- Jabalpur, a city in central India
- Jibal, an emirate in a mountainous part of Iran in Buwayhid times
