J Boogie

Justin "J Boogie" Boland is an American DJ/producer from San Francisco, California. He is signed to the Om Records label, and has been featured on every OM Lounge release. His style includes a mixture of hip-hop, funk, nujazz, afrobeat, latin, dancehall, soul, and electronic. He is the co-creator of the radio show "Beatsauce," along with DJ's Raw B, and Wisdom on KUSF, which was awarded "Best hip-hop show" by citysearch.com, the S.F. Bay Guardian, and the S.F. Weekly.

J Boogie served as the host of the Nickelodeon television block TEENick for several years. He then hosted the short-lived CW Now news-magazine show.
[edit] J Boogie's Dubtronic Science
J has a group called J Boogie's Dubtronic Science, which features himself and a few other frequent contributors. Although Dubtronic Science uses production techniques popularized in Dub music, the album does not fall under that genre. Since the release of the J Boogie's Dubtronic Science album in 2003, J has only released singles or remixes of popular songs from the previous album.
