This template seems needless clutter, and should be a full article, Tolkien bibliography, Works by J.R.R. Tolkien or similar. Articles on works by JRRT that are just brief substubs (The Devil's Coach Horses) could be merged into that. dab (𒁳) 08:38, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

This was suggested before at Talk:J. R. R. Tolkien. Currently, Bibliography of J. R. R. Tolkien redirects to the section of his article, but the title is there if you can get consensus to spin the material out. I'm ambivalent about it. If spinning it out would get rid of this bloated template, then fine, but on some articles, this template seems to work. I prefer it to the other ones anyway, such as Template:Lotr, which is even more horrendously bloated. Carcharoth 11:38, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
