This was speedy-deleted as I was originally working on it (see my note to the speedy-tagger here and the deleting admin here. I've created this mainly as a place to move the Smith-related text inappropriately monopolizing the Economic democracy article - I have no special knowledge of Dr. Smith, but I suspect that whatever one may think of his, um, strenuous and distinctive, writing style and content, he's likely notable enough to get through AfD, and certainly not a speedy candidate this time around. His later book editions are published by his own IED, but the first edition of "Economic Democracy" was published by M.E.
