J. Levine Books and Judaica is a world-famous Judaica store located in Midtown Manhattan. A family business for five generations, J. Levine has been in New York since 1905. Starting from a pushcart on the Lower East Side, the store has expanded from solely synagogue vestments to the whole gamut of Judaic books and products and has relocated to the heart of New York. The store has gained renown for its longstanding and outstanding service and its constant recurrence in the media, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, CNN and Sex And The City.
