J. Lamm (born Jay Lamm) is the lead singer and song writer for the mercurial metal band Cea Serin.[1] Within Cea Serin J. Lamm also performs "1st bass" or "lead bass" in live shows which means he will perform his own bass solos that appear on CD while a second "rhythm" bass player holds down the "2nd" bass part. Typically, a live Cea Serin show consists of J. Lamm performing all vocal duties (with the aid of a MIDI controlled vocal processor for harmonies)[2], a "lead bass" to stage left of his microphone stand and a "3rd guitar" to stage right of his microphone stand. He will also perform additional keyboard duties and solos when it is called for.[3]
J. Lamm wrote the original score for the film "Broken Promise" in 2005-2006[4]. He just finished work on a recent short film for Hedges Pictures called "The Lost Island of Leveau"[5].
Aside from his work in movies he has recorded music for television and radio as well[6].
As of June 2008 he has released his first solo album of new age/world music aimed at the Planetarium music market. This album is called "Form & Void: A Digital Universe"[7].
