J. H. Adam

Jumaat Haji Adam (1956-) is a botanist and taxonomist specialising in the carnivorous pitcher plant genus Nepenthes.

Adam has described numerous Nepenthes taxa, mostly with C. C. Wilcock, including N. faizaliana, N. mapuluensis, N. naquiyuddinii, N. sharifah-hapsahii, N. zakriana, and the natural hybrids N. × alisaputrana, N. × ghazallyana, and N. × sarawakiensis.

The standard author abbreviation J.H.Adam is used to indicate this individual as the author when citing a botanical name.[1]
