J. D. Rudd

J.D.(James Dale) Rudd, aka J.D. Black [1], is a weatherman for KSN [2] in Wichita, KS. Formerly, he worked for KMOT[3] in Minot, North Dakota as the weather director.
J.D. was born and raised in Salina, Kansas where he graduated from Salina High School Central in 2001. He then attended Minot State University and graduated in 2005 with a BA in Broadcasting.
J.D.'s hobbies include kayaking, cross-country skiing, and exploring forest bound weather anomalies. J.D. is currently taking classes from Mississippi State University and plans to finish in May of 2008.
J.D. was recently named the Best Weatherperson in North Dakota by the North Dakota Broadcasters Association. He won a Teddy Award at the yearly banquet in September [4].
