J. Alexander (Comics Artist)

Jason Shawn Alexander or J. Alexander, is an Eisner award nominated comic book artist and illustrator known for his work on the Dark Horse publications Damn Nation, The Escapists, and Secret, as well as the Oni Press title, Queen and Country.
His creator owned work Empty Zone was published for many years by Sirius Entertainment. Jason illustrated Poison Elves: Lusiphur and Lirilith, the critically acclaimed mini-series written by Drew Hayes, also for Sirius. Over the years Jason has worked for DC Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Oni Press, and Image Comics.
He has produced paintings, illustrations, and book covers for Warner Brothers, Hasbro, White Wolf Inc, and Dalmatian Press.
Jason received the Silver Medal Award from the Society Of Illustrators - Los Angeles, as well as two Eisner Award nominations for his work with Oni Press.
He is currently working on Abe Sapien: The Drowning of St. Sebastian for Dark Horse Comics as well as a series of pen and ink illustrations for a book of short stories.
Jason currently lives and works out of Hollywood, CA.
