Jørgen Breder Faye

Jørgen Breder Faye (June 7, 1823 - August 2, 1908) was a Norwegian banker and politician.
Faye worked as a merchant at Bryggen until he in 1856 was appointed director of the newly created Bergen Privatbank; a position he held until 1903. He sat in the Bergen city council for many years, and was mayor in 1862,[1] as well as sitting three periods in the Norwegian Parliament, in 1856-58, 1865-67 and 1868-71.[2]
