Jörg Fauser

Jörg Fauser (* July 16, 1944 - July 17, 1987 in Munich) German writer, poet and journalist who was born in Bad Schwalbach (Germany) and died in Munich.
The influence of American beat generation literature on his works is well known. His later works are mostly German detective stories. "Der Schneemann" has been made into a movie. He died when a truck hit him while walking on a motorway near Munich.
