Jóhanna Vala Jónsdóttir (pronounce: Iouhana Vala Iounsdotir) born 1986 in Reykjavík, Iceland is this year Miss Iceland and will represent the island in both Miss World 2007 in Sanya, China and Miss Universe 2008 in Nha Trang, Vietnam.
She is flight stewardess in Iceland. Johanna’s ambition in life involves completing her degree in nutrition, in Iceland or perhaps in the USA, and taking off in a new career as a dietician teaching children about healthy lifestyle choices. Currently she is a flight stewardess with a keen interest in food science. At home in Reykjavík she has helped out at a Summer camp and Sunday schools for city children, as well as in a children’s theme park, and is kept busy in her spare time with her pets: a dog and six horses. Jóhanna enjoys travelling, horseback riding, skiing, hiking, the gym, jazz ballet, dancing and singing. Her motto is “You can do everything you want if you work hard enough”
