I find this form of harassment quite repellent and I'm happy to help but please don't feel obligated to follow up if it gets to be too stressful on your end. Sadly I don't see this as being the last of this or possibly others and have learned WP:RBI to cope with most of the anon abuse. Also let me know what I can do to help, I deal with homophobic vandals almost every time I edit on wp so will help as I can. Benjiboi 04:42, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- The first thing is to make it more public that this is happening (No problem there). The next thing is, if the user is an anon, to determine their ISP and contact them about the incident (in this case, RDNS reveals all the IPs come from Paterson, New Jersey's Verizon IP blocks) - harassment is explicitly disallowed according to ISP T&C documentation. Third, if the harassment does not abate, file an abuse report and specify why it is being requested. It is alright to retain information on persistent harassers in userspace (as I did with this user and one that had been harassing me a few months ago, User:BlackStarRock (talk|contributions|ISI page)).
