Jérémy Clément (born August 26, 1984) is a French professional footballer currently playing for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain. He is primarily a left-footed defensive midfielder with an eye for a pass.

Despite his birthplace in Béziers, Hérault, Languedoc-Roussillon (in Occitania, southern France), Jérémy Clément and his family come from Rives, Isère (in Arpitany, south-eastern France) where his parents still live.

Clément, who was formed by and started his career at Ligue 1 club Olympique Lyonnais, joined Rangers on 7 July 2006 on a three-year contract after a £1.1m deal was agreed between the two clubs.

In joining Rangers, Clément linked up with his former Lyon manager Paul Le Guen and former Assistant manager Yves Colleu. However, both departed the club in January 2007.

Not long after Le Guen's departure Clément made comments of how he felt unhappy at Rangers due to the new regime of Scottish management and revealed he only went to Rangers because Le Guen was there. He also stated that he definitely wanted out of Rangers.

Paul Le Guen's new club Paris Saint-Germain entered the race to sign him as did Olympique Lyonnais, the club Rangers had purchased Clement from in the summer. On Thursday 25 January 2007 the Rangers official website confirmed Clement had re-joined Paul Le Guen at PSG, turning down Lyon in the process. The fee is believed to be around £1.8 million.
