Jérémy Berthod (born 24 April 1984 in Tassin la Demi-Lune, Rhône-Alpes) is a French footballer who plays left defender for AS Monaco.
A pure product of the Olympique Lyonnais' youth academy, Berthod debuted in the first team on September 13, 2003, in a 1-1 home draw with AJ Auxerre. He would go on to play a somewhat important part in the team's four (with Berthod's input) consecutive Ligue 1 titles, and was also a regular selection for the France U-21 squad.
On July 2007, l'OL agreed to transfer Berthod to AS Monaco at a fee of €2m.[1]He made his Monaco debut in their matchday 2 loss against FC Lorient, picking up a yellow card in the process, and finished the season with 11 league contests played.
