Izvestia Cup or Izvestia Hockey Tournament was an international ice hockey competition, played each year in December in Moscow, between 1968 and 1991. Its format was a round-robin between 5-6 best world teams, however these were invited regardless of the results of the preceeding IIHF World Championship. While European teams would typically employ their top squads, Canada was often represented by select NHL teams.
