Izumi Aki (actress)

Izumi Aki (亜希いずみ Aki Izumi), a.k.a. Yasuko Takahashi (高橋靖子 Takahashi Yasuko, born May 15, 1960) is a Japanese actress.

Izumi made her film debut in 1980 in Shishi Production's (獅子プロ Shishi Puro) Ryōjoku gishiki (凌辱儀式) and often stars in Nikkatsu films and in other independent works.

She was very successful in the Japanese independent movie during the 1980's, winning many fans with both her pretty face and genuine acting ability.

After marrying the film director Kazumi Sekine, her acting career seemed to have ended. Izumi later returned to the screen in 1999, starring in Hatsujō midare zuma (発情乱れ妻).
