I Wanna Be A Model (我要做 Model) also known as Malaysia's Next Top Model is based on CW's hit reality TV show America's Next Top Model which was created by supermodel Tyra Banks. I Wanna Be A Model is the first Top Model franchise with both genders. The show is opened to all Malaysians who can speak fluent Mandarin.
The show host by Dylan Liong 梁佑诚 and Lynn Lim 林佩盈. The first season premiered in August 5, 2006. The show is created by Malaysian supermodel, Amber Chia 谢丽萍.
