Iwasaki, Aomori

Iwasaki (岩崎村; -mura) was a village located in Nishitsugaru District, Aomori, Japan. On March 31, 2005 the village of Iwasaki was merged with the old town of Fukaura to form the new town of Fukaura.
As of 2003, the village has an estimated population of 2,684 and a density of 15.46 persons per km². The total area is 173.58 km². Its sister city is Ranua, Finland
