ivyskin is a company based in NY, NY, which produces cases for iPods and iPhones. Their models include the Xylo and Retro Touch-Thru.

The iPod is a portable media player, designed and marketed by Apple Inc., which was launched on October 23, 2001.

ivyskin was one of the first companies to develop third-party items for the iPod. They introduced their first Xylo Touch-Thru Polycarbonate for iPhone and iPods features in MacWorld in San Francisco, California, just five months after Apple's release of iPhone.

Apple released the iPhone in the United States on June 29, 2007. The Xylo Touch-Thru (T2) case by ivyskin was the first of its kind to provide a hard screen shell over the iPhone.[citation needed]

The company has branched out to create covers for a wider variety of products, including keyboard covers.
