Ivor F. Boiarsky

Ivor F. Boiarsky, (April 7, 1920 – 1971), was born in Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia. He was married to Barbara Polan and was a lifelong Democrat. He was a lawyer by profession; a member of West Virginia State House of Delegates from Kanawha County from 1959-71 after a defeat in 1952.
Mr. Boiarsky died in office. He was a member of the American Bar Association and is one of a small number of Jewish-American members ever to serve in the West Virginia Legislature. He acted as Speaker of the West Virginia House of Delegates from 1969-1971.
