Ivo is a common male given name, which is also prevalent as a surname. In France, the variation of the name is Yves. In South America, the name is commonly spelled Evo. The diminutive of Ivo in Croatian and Serbian is Ivica. Ivo is a common Bulgarian given name, but is also a dimunitive form of the more common Bulgarian given name of Ivaylo.
